Computer Aided
Drafting and Design
Walczak Technology Consultants, Inc. (WTCI) has the capability
to offer full computer aided drafting and design (CADD)
services. Our industry has raised the expectations of technology
consultants and solution providers to now include the generation
or revision of floor plans, site plans, equipment drawings, and
rack drawings in an electronic format.
Our recent experience has been that clients see significant
value in receiving electronic copies of design drawings from the
technology designer and "as-builts" from the installer.
Technology projects, especially cabling installations, provide
clients with an opportunity to convert outdated paper prints
into electronic documents that can be easily revised as
conditions change. We can convert paper images to CADD formats
or redraw paper prints to scale.
Our trained designers can overlay a telecommunications layer on
existing architectural prints, adding value without changing the
original drawings. Additionally, we are aware that many sales
and installation companies do not have this capability in-house
and are required to outsource the work to companies that do not
understand our business, or, who do not understand client
timelines. As a result, delivery of key documents (often tied to
final payment) takes too long.
WTCI can provide CADD services to any organization that is in
need of the service. We have invested in the industrys finest
software, hardware and printers to ensure that our work is
compatible with all major platforms (AutoCAD 2000, MicroStation,
and Visio). We can also manipulate images in any standard format
including digital photography using Adobe Photoshop. Finally, we
can covert any of these formats to Adobe Acrobat format which
can be viewed and printed by just about anyone (Acrobat Viewer
is a free download from the Web).
Our reputation as independent consultants ensures that your
information and project remain confidential and secure. Note: To
maintain this promise, we must evaluate each request from
contractors to determine that it does not present any conflict
of interest for our existing clients or their pursuits.
