In late 1993, Westminster College selected Walczak
Technology Consultants (from among several possible consulting
firms) to assist a multi-functional College team I chaired to
make an extensive investment in a campus-wide, fiber-optic data
network, and to replace the College's outdated telephone system,
both the switch and all the cable plant.
Our most intensive partnering with Walczak Technology
Consultants occurred during 1994, 1995, and 1996. In this
interval, the firm capably performed a series of valuable
services for the College including, 1) patiently educating our
team about current technology, 2) familiarizing us with the
major vendors in the technology market and arranging a parade of
them for helpful presentations to us, 3) advising us regarding
advantageous contracting strategies, 4) preparing bid
documentation and helping to evaluate the returns, 5) performing
and assisting with vendor negotiation, and 6) overseeing actual
construction. Walczak Technology Consultants is well equipped to
provide any or all of these services.
Over these shared experiences, I have come to know Mr. Walczak
as knowledgeable, businesslike, service-oriented, patient,
