Northern Michigan University
Marquette, MI
Provided outside plant cable design services as the University
plans to construct a new science center on campus. The location
of the new building interferes with the existing buried cable
plant and conduit system. We provided alternative routing and
termination designs to provide a continuation of services during
groundbreaking. Currently designing the inside cable plant for
the new Glen T. Seaborg Science Center.
Reviewed the University's options for meeting Year 2000
compliance on their 6,000 port PBX. The current vendor submitted
a proposal for upgrading the four-node PBX to meet all Y2K
requirements and to upgrade the voice mail.
